Blue was a shapeshifting being who was trapped by the mansion. The mansion fed off of their power to become more. . . ah, powerful.
They were trying to escape the house's clutches, while also trying to help us and keep us from dying. In the end, we managed to kill the house and free Blue, so I assumed Blue healed our injuries.
They mostly were somewhat harmless at first, but whenever you completed one, you were given a new one. So they might get worse and worse? My very first one was to make someone a potential target to be killed.
[ listen she was keeping a close eye on the numbers and once it became confirmed that they hit the bare minimum she washed her hands of completing her objective ]
... yeah. It probably won't be exactly the same, but if it's anything similar at all, it'll give enough reason for people to kill.
[unlike SOME PEOPLE whose name rhymes with boro sketchy]
Yeah.
[a sharp exhale]
We all need to work together to get home, there's no doubt about that. But I am worried about what it'll take to break someone's back when we're all still stress from our last murder adventures.
At the very least, it doesn't seem like there are any actual troublemakers? I'm sure if there were any evil maniacs around, someone from their group would have outed them.
[ ... ]
Unless they managed to hide it, I guess. But everyone from the castle is fine.
[ she does not see hikage's yan it's fine she will take care of it ]
So, there is a chance that someone might not care about the entire group as a whole, even to the point of potential sabotage. But if no one is immediately singling anyone out, we can at least assume we might not run into a problem like that here.
People weren't "possessed" as much as they were infected by the house itself. It turned them into monsters-- rat queens, kitsunes, dragons, zombies, you name it-- and those monster instincts were what drove them to kill others.
Finding those who had been transformed into monsters was our top priority. If we didn't out them at trial. . . then they'd just kill again.
For us, it was basically that every week, two people were approached and told they had to kill. They were offered a wish in exchange for pulling one off, but if that wasn't enough to convince them, then they were threatened as well.

I'm glad you got them out. And yourselves, obviously. Even if that victory didn't last long.
no subject
Mmm. I'm glad your group managed to get out, too. Belph told me a little bit about what happened.

Wouldn't want to bore you with the same details twice.

[. . . a small sigh]
Killing someone by drowning. . .? That's just. . . [he trails off and grimaces]

I did not complete any objectives.

Thaaaaaaat's a good thing.
[EVEN THOUGH HE ALSO KNOWS THEY NEEDED OBJECTIVES TO REVIVE DEAD PEOPLE AND ALSO GO HOME]
Are you worried about what sort of "tasks" we'll be asked to complete here?

Wow.
What an asshole.

I hope we don't. We've all been through this once before.
People should know by now that we only survive by collaborating.
no subject
... but in regards to what you said. What was the setup? I know possession was a thing in some places. Ours wasn't like that.

. . . it sounds like a similar setup to what was happening in the wild west.
no subject
So, we should probably look out for different potential setups here, I guess.

[nobody said mods can't mix mechanics]
What do you think of our camp directors?
no subject
But that's not too surprising, since I doubt they'll open up in like, a day.
no subject
. . . or maybe they're just vague on purpose. Who knows?
no subject
It's just annoying to have to start from the beginning all over again.
