[it was only a few weeks ago, but the trauma of losing his leg feels like a distant memory at this point. he lowers his foot again, dipping his fingers into his pockets as his eyes slip shut]
I got caught in a mirror maze with a few of my mansion companions. My foot slipped into one of the mirrors-- it felt like it was being bathed in acid.
When I pulled my leg out. . . all that was left was bone.

Blue was a shapeshifting being who was trapped by the mansion. The mansion fed off of their power to become more. . . ah, powerful.
They were trying to escape the house's clutches, while also trying to help us and keep us from dying. In the end, we managed to kill the house and free Blue, so I assumed Blue healed our injuries.
