My memory that I shared with Blue and my conversation with them. Looking back on it again, Blue merged with the house... [ honestly there was just so much in that memory. ] I don't think there's a real physical Blue that exists anymore.

Those notes we got from the dead seemed to imply that killing Blue would just make the Oddity stronger. So. . . I don't think that's the right answer. I don't.
[he remembers the note-- something about removing the heart metaphysically-- and glances down]
I really don't know how we're supposed to separate them, but I'm hoping we can somehow find the answer within the coming week.

I agree, I mean, the Oddity also keeps Blue around for a reason, too.

It's something in the way that we're doing differently than everyone else before us. Nick was right to say that we're so close because we are. There's something missing but I don't know what that is.

As for Blue...well, it just seemed natural for me. I remember how helpful it was to have someone around back then. [ he appreciates being called kind, though. it's a good quality to have. ] You'll be Blue's friend, too, right?
Definitely something. [ they're struggling with it. phoenix struggled with it. it's the need for that final "ah-hah" moment to get it... however, as it can, the final straw is always just out of reach by the smallest of margins. ] I'm sure we'll find a break somehow...
