About as well as anyone can be after hearing that five people died overnight.

[his tone is light and dismissive. he had become pretty good friends with Giyuu, but still. . . he can't imagine how people like Dick and Steph and Damian are feeling right now]

But there isn't anything else for me to do but wait until tomorrow.

I kind of miss investigating on Fridays... it gave us something to do until trial.

More time to go over the evidence on Saturday, too. [a tiny huff] We're going to have so much to go over tomorrow that I hope we have enough time.

We're going to have to move quickly to find everything, which... can also be tricky, because we don't want to rush and miss stuff.

Yeah. When Lili, Yin Yu and I were looking around earlier, Lili said that Heart advised her to look more closely at the evidence we find and not to get caught up on one single thing.

The problem is not knowing which evidence to look at, I guess. Like we were so sure about that can last week...

I know at the castle, we kept saying we should split into groups to discuss different stuff when there were multiple bodies like this... granted, we were very bad at managing it.

Lili, Yin Yu and I were just talking about doing that, too.

But with this many people-- [god. five whole bodies. Akira's expression flickers] -- there's a high chance that the crime scenes may overlap.

Yeah.

... and it seriously is hard to actually pull off. Like how you suggest trying to manage a tie if there are multiple killers but that only ever happens when you don't want it to.

But if we start the trial with a plan, we can at least head off some of the chaos. Right?

... at the very least, we won't run out of stuff to talk about while people are investigating.
