I confirmed a lot of the information I got from Akechi. The house is a malevolent entity, it's trying to prove a "point" but it's doing so badly. . .

[a pause, and his expression falls]

. . . Blue is tired and wants the cycle to end. They told me how we can stop it, but I don't think they were able to give me specifics.

[ he heard that, too. ]

Blue told me to look for the "source" of the house and all of the things it's doing. They couldn't tell me exactly where or what it was, but they did give me hints.

It's closer than we think it is.

The source is available to anyone who seeks it out.

The heart of the matter is what's most important.

[ phoenix just lifts his good hand and ruffles akira's hair a little ]

The source of the house..... hm. From what I hear, we'll have to separate Blue from the house in order to be free. I wonder if it's related.

[ducks his head a bit underneath the hair ruffling, shooting Phoenix a slightly bewildered look for more than one reason]

Still thinking about it... but Blue was the first of the house's victims. Now, they're forced to keep inviting us here, or the house will take matters into its own.... whatever it has that qualifies for hands.

Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised. Based on that memory Ken told me about, it almost seems if they're kind of. . . symbiotic?
