I talked to Toi-san about that. He told me the sisters said that Asch was infected when he was bitten by the monster.

But Toi-san assured me that he wouldn't be infected, too. That's because Asch-san's transformation wasn't complete.

It still doesn't make sense, though. If Asch transformation wasn't Meltryllis shifting the infection to him, then why would someone out there write me a note that says she isn't the. . . fish snake? Dragon?
