it's a class at school where the teacher in charge takes care of administrative work. like having you fill out career forms or telling you that you need your parents to sign your latest test because you failed.

okay, got it! wait. why would your homeroom teacher do your laundry then? i think if i asked my teacher to do my laundry for me when i was studying, he would've whipped me for the audacity

she needed to earn some extra cash, so for a while she worked for a [. . .] cleaning company.

she's a hard worker. a little TOO hard, if you ask me. she almost worked herself sick.

it's a long story. the short of it is that she owed some awful people a ton of money, so she had to work two jobs to pay them off.

but those awful people don't bother her anymore, so she was able to quit her cleaning job. now she's just a teacher.

even hearing the short version of events, i'm happy for her! to be a teacher and a servant... that's a strange experience for sure

yeah, i think it was. but i also think she came out of the whole experience a much stronger person, so i can only admire her for her growth.
