[ She shrugs. Sometimes, you were never meant to be more than an extra body to pad out numbers, and then suddenly you're The Only One Left. Bad times! ]

I'm the only one who can do the role I have. But I have a lot of support, so I can't say I'm alone, either.

With that kind of pressure, I bet you're pretty excited when you can do normal teenager things, right?

I don't even know if I remember all of what normal teenager things are anymore...

You can experiment. You know. . . do things that feel "normal" to you, and see how you like them. Especially here, right?

We have a pool hall, after all.

[fujimaru]

I don't actually know how to play pool!

...Poker, yeah, though no one lets me play anymore. I've got a terrible face for it.

I can teach you, if you're interested in learning. Poker is way overrated, anyway.

[fujimaru]

I'd like to! ...though I don't mind poker. It's better when it doesn't end in a fight, but it was kind of fun.

Poker's fun when you don't take it too seriously. Maybe I'll get us a deck of cards to try that one day, too.

I don't have to take it seriously to know I'm bad at it. Robin says it's worse than trying to take candy from a baby.
