As this group splits off from the others, they may want to honor those who have passed and take a detour toward the memorial hall. However, as they approach, they’ll find that on the south side of the building it seems as though the snow is a bit disturbed and slightly tinged red. It’s hard to say what may have happened here, but the snow itself cannot be moved or shoveled out of the way.

This group is the only one who will be able to see these findings.

Perhaps it's best to discuss amongst yourselves and bring it up to others, too.

[ we're in full business mode now, folks. mask on, investigating the snow to see if anything can be uncovered with the earth master's shovel. it doesn't budge. ]

If we can already see this much, then tomorrow, this needs to be one of the first places we look.

[at least there's two people here that lili can work with. she's out in the snow wearing a jacket that's definitely way too big for her on top of her coat.]

Does anybody know where any of those five were staying last night?

[I forgot to mention that he's holding a slushie and is sipping on it every time he isn't talking. IT'S FINE. slurp]

[lili's face looks like it's covered in uh. smudge marks? and her hands are very very very stuffed in her pockets as she looks like she's trying to resist something]

A robot can die just as much as the rest of us can. It's just a matter of. . . short-circuiting their power sources, or destroying it completely.

[ quietly. ]

There is a 'logic function computer' in his head. [ yin yu points to the center of his own forehead on his mask. ] ...that is the only way to destroy his consciousness and prevent it from returning.

[ yin yu can't say that he understands any of it, but... this is deja vu, unfortunately. what a twist of fate, to think that the members of their original execution all ended up dying, in the end.

... since you're both here, I'll tell you - PH informed me that we ought to look more closely at all the evidence that we collect to review it. In addition, we shouldn't focus all of our attention on one matter at a time.

... we won't have that choice tomorrow regardless.

And... Kara mentioned the possibility of more than one person acting each week - which I think is also an inevitability this time.

[Akira doesn't either, because while he's good with computers and has in fact repaired several robot arms. . . he doesn't want to give people false hope]

[besides, Lili is right. they don't know what state C-3PO's body is in]

With. . . five people dead, we're absolutely going to have to split things up tomorrow. Maybe we should try dividing into groups.

[ ...yeah. he's the same. yin yu is not the type of person to put false hope into anything, but.... it happened on the island. it wouldn't be unheard of to happen again.

he's on the same line with evidence, too. ] Groups, and double checking each other's work, just in case. It would be best to mix the groups as often as possible to keep people from sticking together and covering for each other.

We can try. Investigations to be done in groups of people who weren't in previous settings together. All hands available for strip checks as well, and inventory should be checked at the same time.

Evidence brought back from investigations can be looked over by people who weren't the ones to find them.

I think bodies should be left to those with medical expertise - which I'm afraid is looking like primarily just Dick. The robot should be left to someone who knows how to look at machinery, though.

We'll need to be running many things simultaneously.

There's a chance that crime scenes will intersect, too. The camp isn't that big.

[and it happened before in the mansion. his tone is even, but he takes another sip of his slushie, pausing as he does so]

Either I or 45 can look at C-3PO. I think we both know enough about computers to help there.

I would be hard-pressed to think that Lady Shinobu and Tomioka would be far from each other.

[ not in the middle of the night. they are both too careful, too skilled for that. ] It would be best to keep an eye out for any injuries from weaponry, too. I cannot imagine either of them went down without a fight.

...and on that same note, we should take stock of the healing items anyone may or may not have, as well.

I still have mine. Magnus and Anaido both possess healing gems. Shinobu was holding onto one poison that she retrieved from the cabin with Dimitri and Giyuu as well.

She was on Winter Wizard, and she had the power to prevent someone from sleeping. They would still sleep past curfew, but they wouldn't feel rested at all by the next morning.

I know that most people believe Giyuu is on Black Shadows - but all I have about him is an inventory of possible items won from the task competition.

We'll also have to double-check the inventory of dolls and keep all their purposes in mind in case they were used.

[giving Lili a surprised look, but honestly. he shouldn't be surprised? she knows like everyone's team by now]

Giyuu was definitely Black Shadows. I talked to him after the execution, and although he didn't say it, he told me someone from "his" team would find me to speak with me later.

And he was right. Someone else from Shadows eventually found me.

It would be wise to see if we can search cabins as well, especially as we come down to smaller numbers. As we start to narrow suspects, it would be a wise place to search for things stashed in a panic. Besides...if, for instance, the poison you mentioned that Lady Shinobu had was missing from her cabin and not on her person, it could be potential evidence.

It would be best to check across partners for items, as well as cross reference the items from last week, since the powers stack.

[at the surprised look from akira, lili just says plainly:] Kara asked her, and told me today.

Then those are places to start. Item powers, inventory check, strip check to start with, and making sure that we cover evidence very closely. Everyone who could've known the powers of the departed ought to share with us early as well.

Mmm. Agreed. I know we talked last week about curfew effects being faked, but we'll need to rule out anyone with an effect that can't be faked.

Otherwise, our suspect pool will be just way too big.
