Bizarre... And that happened every week? The random effects, not the-- signs point to yes part.

But yeah. Every week. People staying in the library would get random knowledge, some people woke up with phantom injuries that faded the next day, and one week people even smelled like perfume.

It was an easy way to tell who actually fell asleep the night before. Anyone who was either awake at night or who fell asleep in their room didn't have these effects.

Still. Catching people in a lie is pretty much the entire point of those trials. The more they lie, the easier it is to find one thing that doesn't add up.
