No matter what I ask, they keep insisting that it's a "residual." "Everything goes back to remnants," they say. They won't give me a name, or even admit that it has any kind of physical form. It's just. . . a construct? Something created by our memories and experiences.
Something so stupidly vague it's frustrating to be told that it's our enemy.

... I guess that goes in line with what they've been saying, about how there's only ever been the three of them here. Pink would either have to be something that came with us or something that doesn't count as a "being".
... There's also still the matter of Mask Guy. I doubt they're what we're looking for exactly, but I'm pretty sure they're not unrelated to Pink in some manner either.
Lili told me that the masked guy is here to help us, though she doesn't yet know how. And when I asked the directors about them, they wouldn't give me any answers but insisted I talk to them myself.
Shadows seemed extra pushy about me talking to them, so. . . I wonder if the masked guy is also a residual.
Maybe. But what I meant was that if we can solve what Mask Guy is, it might give us some answers as to what Pink is, in turn. Even if they're not on the same side.
