[the embarrassment is ebbing away slightly, fingers curling a little more tightly around Minato's. because yes, he is still holding senpai's hand. he is!!!]

Minato considers that, expression a little bashful, before he just shrugs a bit and-- ]

[but at that, Akira lets out a breathless little laugh, ducking his head a bit as he does so]

[ ... And so quietly, Minato reaches out with his free hand to gently guide Akira's chin up with his fingers.

And slowly, deliberately, leans in to press their lips together.

A kiss!!! ]

[Akira moves easily with that touch, lifting his head so his eyes lock with Minato's right before he leans in. they flutter shut once those lips are pressed against his, and his shoulders sag with a content, pleased sigh]

[he leans in a little, free hand wandering to Minato's cheek, fingertips ghosting across warm skin as he reciprocates the kiss. it's certainly not as heated and fiery as the ones in the dream, but. . .]

[it's gentle, and exploratory, and by it's own merit's it's a pretty good first real kiss]

[ It's a damn good first real kiss, and Minato pulls away extremely reluctantly--and breathes out a soft, almost contented sigh as he does.

His eyes are still half-lidded, his cheeks a little flushed and mouth slightly parted as he pulls away...

And... he smiles. ]

[Akira's hand remains against Minato's cheek even as the kiss ends and the other wild card pulls away. he, too, looks flushed and content, expression soft as his bangs fall in juuuuust the right way over his eyes]

[. . . he lets out a breathless huff, light and almost disbelieving]

Well. . .

[ He echoes that, and then... shakes his head, leaning in to briefly press their noses together affectionately. ]

... I really like you, Akira. I guess you figured me out.

[another breathless laugh, even though the red on his cheeks deepens as Minato leans in. an impossible feat made possible!!]

Am I the one who figured you out, or is it the other way around. . .?

[mumbled audibly, but half to himself]

[ He rubs the back of his neck. ]

... That's definitely not it.

[ he definitely... just made it clear that he knew Nothing about how Akira actually felt. ]
