[ Minato huffs out a faint breath at that, but he just shakes his head. Thankfully, stocking the place for basic Japanese meals had been a priority for him, so he's got what he needs for a simple meal of salmon and miso soup.
He'll just start to cook, for now in silence. The distraction is nice, but...
[Akira's going to take a seat at whatever table I gave Cerberus, I don't remember, don't at me. he falls silent when Minato does, hands linked together and resting on the table, tail swishing behind him as it hangs off the side of the chair]

[now that they aren't talking, or joking around, the weight of the morning's events are starting to press against him again, and he ducks his head and closes his eyes to take in a deep breath]
[okay good Minato served himself. if he hadn't, Akira would have Said Something]
[he's going to help himself to the soup first, which warms him from the inside out. incidentally. . . it's just the thing he needed after a horrible morning, and he lets out a tiny sigh as some of the tension seeps from his shoulders]
[pauses with utensil in his mouth, gaze flickering up to blink at Minato]

. . . mmm.
[he isn't really sure what to say to that, but!! he'll make a noise of acknowledgement and just. . . nod, because. yeah. Minato made it very clear he needed this just as much as Akira did]
