yeah. so i've heard. you're not the first person who has brought that up to me.
i don't know what death's significance is in the cognitive world. i know that people can die there, just as they could die outside of it-- after all, you're still YOU, even within the cognitive world.
but i don't know how those who have died before are here now. i mean, i have some theories but they're kind of
[well he doesn't want to mention them for Reasons]
back home, a. . . friend of mine. he died. and because i didn't see it happen, i thought. . . maybe he was still alive. maybe i would see him again some day.
a few weeks later, i saw him again.
and a few weeks after that. . . i learned that he was just a figment of my cognition.
i'm not saying the people who are here who died are figments of our cognition. they probably aren't. they may just be the same real people they were before passing on.
the velvet room is another. . . "place between dream and reality." as far as i know, it's a place where wild cards with the ability to summon multiple personas can go to hone their abilities.
we're not in the velvet room, though. and there are only two people here who can summon personas-- myself and minato.

This was my concern as well.
Why do you think it is not so?

the man who brought my desires to life in the first place isn't here.
and he lost his ability to do so, anyway.

when i went there, my attendant would visit me in the form of a blue butterfly. whenever i saw it. . . i knew the velvet room was calling.

I am unsure of the implications.
