[once they reach the cliffsides, Akira reaches out as though to climb said cliff. he misses the outcropping he was aiming to grasp like. . . five times, before he decides maybe scaling cliffs like this is a bad idea?]

[watches him do that and snickers, then crouches down to set up his fireworks where he is]

[sticks his tongue out at Akechi as he crouches down to do likewise, pulling some matches and a punk out of the firework box as he does so]

[fails at his fist try in lighting his punk, the first match burning all the way to his fingers. he swears and drops it]

[second time goes better, and in irritation he immediately lights up a firework]

[backs off on his own time, which turns out to be just in time to watch the shell go up]
